Frozen in Time

We are the beneficiaries of historical frozen Antarctic krill samples from retired Antarctic veterans, Robin Ross and Langdon Quetin (formerly UCSB). Literally frozen in time, these samples (collected between 1980s and 2000s) will be used to examine changes in the diet and body condition of Antarctic krill during a period when Antarctica began to rapidly warm and changes in the ecosystem were observed.
